So far you've implemented the basics of a game engine (with no 3D support by the looks of it yet). Your code is great, very well written, and it looks very promising, with design notes taken from real life game engines. There's really not much to say, it really just needs more work and functionality before it's properly usable as the demo doesn't show me much. A great entry, all you needed was a more (or more complete) functionality and a better demo showing it. I wish you the best of luck with this, as it can be quite tedious to have to implement all the functions of a game engine, but can be extremely useful.

Your example really didn’t do you any favours, it wasn’t overly impressive. However, you code looks very solid and feature packed. Again, maybe it was just your example, but it didn’t run very fast.

Really neat API, the demo doesn't do a good job of showcasing it at all IMO. I toyed around with it a little bit. It's not very fast, even in singleplayer, but that's not to be expected with CC anyways. Code is very well laid out too, which is nice to see, and the API is pretty well documented.
